About the Author

Award-winning artist, author, lecturer, and musical performer Jeanne Maxant Blanchet was born in Chicago. After graduating summa cum laude from Northwestern University, she earned her M.A. from Arizona State University and Ph.D. from Hawaii. Following a teaching career at various colleges and universities, she is currently at home in Scottsdale, Arizona. Jeanne's biography appears in Who's Who in America. In 2018 she received the coveted Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award for leadership in the field of creative arts. A prolific writer, she has published fourteen books, including six full-length historical fiction novels.
