Overview

Not everyone small is up to the task of emptying garbage cans; that's usually left to big, strong fellows. But, our hero Dan proves this wrong. With the use of his hear and will Dan grows into what he wants to do -- be a garbage man. He proves that one should never judge the size of the heart, by the size of the man. A perfect message to start a discussion on the importance of effort and following your heart.

-- A delightful tale of trying hard and making an effort for what you want.

-- Adorable drawings by Sally Huss fill the pages and express the action.

-- Great message for young children in rhyme. Pre-school and young readers will be delighted with this book.

Fans of the books of Dr. Seuss, Sandra Boynton, Suzy Spafford, the Berenstains, Felicia Bond, Laura Numeroff and P.D. Eastman will really like DAN THE GARBAGE MAN. Age range: 4-8.
