Damon Swift Invents
This is the second collection of invention stories featuring the father of Tom Swift, Damon Swift. This time, rather than a trio of adventures in Australia, he is moving around the world.

This is a mostly new trio of either short novellas about the following:

Damon Swift and the Folding AutoCar
This is a revision and extended version of the story that appears in one of the Tom Swift Invention collections. There is more detail, more explanation (including a new chapter) and fewer typos. Hurrah! While working for NASA Damon learns that his family company is being horribly mismanaged by his own father, so he moves back to Shopton with his young wife and two small children and sets about making a unique car design come true, and saving the company in the process.

Damon Swift and the Polar WatchBear
Bad things are afoot in the frozen Arctic. A peaceful exploration team finds a hidden cache of weapons near the North Pole. When Damon is contacted to see if he might find a way to create an early warning system to prevent this from happening again, he comes up with an audacious plan, and discovers the truth behind who left all those rockets, and where they were really meant to be pointing!

Damon Swift and the Self-Injecting Snake
An unscrupulous man and company in Brazil are making money shipping deadly biologic weapons across their country to insurgents in a neighboring nation. When their plane crashes it is far too close for a reclusive Amazonian tribe and could spell their deaths. Since they disappear when someone comes within a mile of their village, Damon must devise a way to tack them down and inject them with an anti-biologic without confronting them.

Bonus: Includes a special short story written only for this collection:

Damon Swift and the Scuttle-by-Wire Rat
Real and expensive cameras are being destroyed in the sewers of one large U.S. city and one man responsible for them asks Damon to see what he might do to either safeguard the robotic cameras or replace them with something that is not just more hardy, but can maneuver through the ancient pipes and crumbling sewers.

About the Author

T. Edward Fox will tell you. and straight to your face, that he is a figment of the imagination of Thomas Hudson and only exists to throw people off the trail of who actually writes this stuff.

Mr. Hudson is a very old man who lives for the day he can find a time traveling machine somewhere in the back of his garage (he swears he put one there a couple decades ago!) and go back to a time when young women didn't think he was "cute and harmless" because he is so much older than they are!

He also hated it back in high school when a girl would say, "I think of you as a brother…" or some other drivel.
