Daily Meditations on the Glory of Jesus, Volume II: A Thirty-Day Devotional
This book is the second volume in a series focusing on the glory of Christ; that is, the character and nature of Jesus, and its solitary focus and intent is to, as Jesus tells us regarding The Holy Spirit's role, simply and purely glorify Himself. [Jn 16:14] There is no other passion which has motivated this writing. Jesus tells us the will of His Father is "that every one which sees the Son, and continues to believe on Him, may have everlasting life" -- that they might enjoy that everlasting life which Jesus says, is to "know...the only true God, and Jesus Christ," whom God sent. [Jn 6:40; 17:3]

And so, if any man be wearied from the journeys of life, let him run to Jesus and drink of that fount which never runs dry and which always satisfies. [Jn 7:37] Let them taste of its delight and heavenly passions; let them be made of God to drink of the river of His pleasures, which flows and plunges deeper than one can stand; [Psa 36:8] let them taste and see that God is good; [Psa 34:8] let them "with joy...draw water out of the wells of salvation;" [Isa 12:3] Yea, "let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." [Rev 22:17]
