About the Author

Jason J. Michael is a freelance poet, actor, director, music director, and composer who has worked for such distinguished theatre companies as The Walnut St. Theatre, The Fulton Opera House, American Family Theatre, and the Riverside Center Dinner Theatre. He earned a 2003 Barrymore Award nomination for his performance as "Buddy Fidler/Irwin S. Irving" in City of Angels at Villanova Theatre.

His poem, "The Greatest Treasure," was published and awarded first prize by Writers' Journal several years ago, and his choral spiritual, All Aboard: The Ballad of Harriet Tubman, is published by Theodore Presser Co.

He holds an MFA in Theatre/Pedagogy from Virginia Commonwealth University, an MA in Theatre from Villanova University, a BA in Theatre from Kutztown University and a BA in Music Composition from Susquehanna University.

He, his wife Nancy, son John Adams, and their three cats live in King George, VA in a little idyllic rancher.
