About the Author
Faiz Iqbal has a PhD in Manufacturing-Automation from IIT Delhi, India. He is currently working as a post-doctoral researcher in the School of Engineering, the University of Edinburgh. He has to his credit several research papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences. He secured funding for a COVID-19 project which he successfully delivered and was nominated for the Scottish Knowledge Exchange award in the COVID-19 collaborative response category. His research interests are Industry 4.0, CPS, advanced manufacturing, industrial automation, and mechatronics.
