Cure for a Kill
April's pale-blue, lifeless body washed ashore in the small town of
Ocean Terrace is not a mystery that the new girl in town, sophomore
Paige, is interested in following, but when graves are being dug up and
a mysterious cache is uncovered on the nearby island, her dad's new
company appears to be involved deeper than anyone could have
suspected.
Moving to a new town, sophomore Paige thinks her life is turned upside-down facing the task of making new friends and finding a place on the swim team.
But Ocean Terrace harbors secrets. Deep secrets. Rotten roots weaved its way from the monstrous drug company through the police department and into the ocean waters. And when a pale-blue, lifeless body of a teenage girl turns up washed ashore, that proves only to be the beginning.
Graves are overturned and bodies stolen.
Hidden caches discovered on the island just a mile off-shore.
A sonar driving dolphins into a trap.
And the company house and maid prove to be more of a prison than a promise of riches.
Follow Paige as she fights her way out.
Her life and her dad's depend on it.

But...
There are a few things that the typical journalistic biography won’t tell you about me beyond my favorite color and that I’m disturbed that 4-cheese pizza is the most they’ll give me when, clearly, an 8-cheese pizza would be twice as good. For one thing, I’m a Maniac, born and raised in Maine and will always consider myself “from Maine” no matter how many years I spend in Taxachusetts. There are, of course, more important parts of my life, such as my love for my daughter Alicia, the cutest little girl on the face of God’s green earth. She’s the joy of my life, giving me new purpose in the darkest hours. She is a constant inspiration for me. Then there’s my biologic family who all live in Maine (with the exception of the coolest Aunt one could ever hope for) whom I see once a month (which isn’t nearly enough). I’ve been fortunate to make friends far and wide though, and have a spiritual brother in Singapore and sister in England as well as friends in all corners of the world. With the help of one too many bowls of ice cream, they have helped make me the well-rounded person I am today. Of course, the biggest inspiration for me is God. The center of my life since I was born, He has helped me through the hardest times of my life and has been my constant joy.
