Born to Haitian parents, Carlentz Francois grew up in an environment where stories of social justice, independence, and the struggles of the Haitian people were an integral part of her upbringing. From a young age, she was imbued with a deep sense of spirituality and purpose, defined by an understanding of the importance of human rights.
Her passion for advocating human rights led her on a remarkable educational journey. She pursued three master’s Degrees: Human Rights Int Law, Computer Science Information Systems, and Human Resources Management. Honing her expertise and expanding her knowledge base, her academic achievements laid the foundation for her impactful career.
As a human rights LLM, Carlentz Francois dedicated her life to defending the marginalized and vulnerable. Her legal career became a testament to her commitment to justice and social reform. She tirelessly worked to address issues such as access to education, healthcare, and socio-economic disparities, both in Haiti and on the international stage.
Throughout her career, Carlentz’s advocacy extended far beyond the judicial system. She became a respected voice in the world of human rights and social reform, collaborating with international and local organizations to improve the lives of those in need. As an English as a second language teacher, she’s also the author of “3 Languages Coloring Books” (Fruits and Animals). Her work is instrumental in pushing for lasting change.
