Overview

When Jesus returns in glory, He is coming for only one bride. This quest for Christian unity is called ecumenism. The Roman-Catholic Second Vatican Council timely recommends all the faithful to recognize the signs of the times and to take an active and intelligent part in the work of ecumenism. Fr. Marc van Rossem helps readers to discover the quest for unity in the church. It is a quest already begun across denominations, continents, and time, now beckoning this present generation. He reveals the desperate need for the Bride of Christ to more fully experience the Holy Spirit and emphasizes that unity in Christ alone will release the church into her end times calling.

About the Author

I am a Roman-Catholic priest and co-pastor in our provincial capital of Den Bosch in the Netherlands. My background is very traditional yet over the years I have begun to discover the supernatural dimension of a life with Christ. To my surprise, I have also come to love the promotion of unity among Christians especially among the Pentecostal-type tribes of the body of Christ. I owe them very much. Also to my surprise, I have come to learn about deliverance and have been able to complete the academic and practical training for exorcism in Rome under the spiritual paternity of fr. Gabriele Amorth, chief-exorcist of Rome. I sense we have entered the early apocalyptic season that has great glory and malicious warfare. We were born for such a time as this. I also believe I will see the entire church of Christ become fully one, inspired by a victorious and glorious remnant who have their eyes constantly on the Lord, even when the surroundings could be quite turbulent.
