About the Author

Vincent H. O’Neil brings a wealth of life experience to his writing. After graduating from West Point, he served in the US Army Infantry for nine years in both stateside and overseas assignments. He also holds a Master's degree in International Affairs from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.

In 2005, he won the St. Martin’s Press Malice Domestic Award. His critically-acclaimed debut novel, Murder in Exile, was the first in a mystery series featuring the background-checker Frank Cole. It was followed by Reduced Circumstances, Exile Trust, and Contest of Wills.

He is also the author of the theater-themed mystery Death Troupe and two horror novels (Interlands and Denizens) set in New England.

HarperCollins had released all five of the novels in his military science fiction Sim War series (Glory Main, Orphan Brigade, Dire Steps, CHOP Line, and Live Echoes) written under the name Henry V. O'Neil.
