About the Author

Darnell Lamont Walker currently lives between New York City and Los Angeles while he finishes up his final degree to prove to the world he is an intellectual of some sort. He is the author of three books and the happiest part of several poor girls’ lives. If you ever see him in the street, or in a bar, say hello, grab a drink and smile with him.

I really felt like black woman needed a guide, for so long we've been told we're out of touch with the black man, that we're going about relationships in the wrong way, and acting the wrong way in them. In response to us asking "What should we be doing?" we've gotten books like, "Act Like a Lady, Think Like A Man" and "Is Marriage for White People?" that tell us to change who we are intrinsically, or offer solutions that do not work with our patterns of thinking.
