About the Author

Richard S. Myers attended public elementary and secondary schools in Wesson, Mississippi. Dr. Myers earned his B.S. degree from Mississippi College, M.S. from Louisiana State University, and Ph.D. in physical chemistry from Emory University. He is Professor Emeritus of Chemistry and Dean Emeritus of the College of Arts and Sciences at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi, where he was on the faculty for thirty-five years. He currently resides in Collierville, TN.
