Overview

Within the depths of our minds lie our true selves. Between every crack and crevice in the brain, secrets hide. Expressing oneself through writing can inadvertently expose these secrets. Do you dare delve into these 20 stories and poems, finding yourself intimately close with me?

What you'll find inside:

A haunting Halloween tradition carried on by a lone survivor.

The power a vintage clown mask can hold within a couple's relationship.

What happens when technology and human evil amalgamate.

The daunting decision between life and death a plague doctor must endure.

And many more that expose the light grip we humans have on humanity.

These twenty stories have been published in celebration of my twentieth birthday, and I hope you'll leave a review down below whether this tickled your fancy or wetted your socks :)

About the Author

Hi! I'm Alyanna Poe, Northern California born and raised author. I published my first book at eighteen, proving that age is just a number.

I enjoy writing, especially horror! I live and breathe horror as Halloween has always been a huge holiday in my house. Most of the stories I write and my current WIPs are in the horror genre. Although, before I kick the bucket, I plan on writing in every genre I can think of.

I'm very serious about my craft. I work on something revolving my books everyday, but when I'm not stuck on the computer, I love spending time with my parents and three dogs. I also enjoy trying different art forms, like painting and drawing, but I mainly focus on my writing as my art isn't necessarily... up to par.

Music is a huge influence in my life. It's always on in my house (in fact it's on as I write this!) I generally listen to alternative rock, rap, or EDM. EDM and lofi hip hop are great for my writing as they generally have no lyrics for me to get distracted with.

Being left handed, I've always been messy and creative, and I must admit, I am a bit scatter brained most of the time.

If you follow me on any of my social media pages, feel free to message me. I'm always up for a conversation!
