Cradle Cap : Complete Guide For Adults And Baby Treatment Getting Rid Of A Cradle Cap :In 3 Days Or Less
Cradle cap is essentially a condition that is most common in young infants. This condition usually appears on a baby’s head, eyebrows or eyelids as early as between one to three months. It usually goes away on its own by the time the child gets to between a year and twenty four months. However, there has been known cases of both teenagers and adults who have had issues with cradle cap. This is usually a mild condition but there have been issues with fungal infections in some people with cradle cap.

There are a number treatment options for cradle cap such as olive oil, shampoos, baking soda pastes and some prescribed medications for the more severe types of the condition.

When the oil is used on the affected area or areas, it is usually left on for a short period of time, usually between ten and fifteen minutes and then a soft brush or fine teeth comb is used to remove the scales from the scalp and then a gentle baby shampoo is used to wash both the remaining scales as well as the oil from the baby’s head. Albeit the condition is so common, its cause or causes are not really known, but it has been linked with the baby having some of its mother’s hormone still left in his or her body shortly after their birth. The appearance of cradle cap is well known with its scaly, patchy look that is sometimes red, yellow or brown in color.

About the Author

Barry Buchanon falls within the small number of persons who have had cradle cap as an adult. Albeit his condition was mild and not much more than an annoyance, he found it interesting enough to delve into it deeply enough so that his research would help not just himself, but also everyone else who has been or will be affected by this condition.

Buchanon is also interested in other conditions that affect the skin, especially those that can be treated naturally and with things you can find at home. He believes that all the medication that more often than not comes with a host of side effects; there is a natural counterpart for it that you can find and use in an effort to treat many of the things that ail you.

His interest in the natural way of healing has not made him completely against getting medical help if you need it, however, he champions the idea of saving your money as well as finding a healthier way to make yourself better, specifically when it relates to conditions such as cradle cap that can be treated naturally, thereby not having to ingest chemicals in your body that are toxic, simply in the name of being cured, when there are other ways to get better and not have to be making yourself sick in another way.
