About the Author

Jameson E. Davis is an eight year old from Painesville, Ohio. He likes sports, gaming, drawing, cars, and sneakers. Like many children, Jameson found himself homeschooling during the COVID-19 pandemic. He wrote Cotton Ball Head for his third grade English Language Arts short story assignment. His mom enjoyed the story and the message so much that she decided to publish it to encourage him to continue to write and to embrace people with unique backgrounds and abilities. She also recruited Jameson’s cousin, Vinn, a talented young artist, to illustrate and bring the story to life.
