Corsicas Revenge
Corsica is having a bad day. She thought that she had taken a typical espionage job when it turns out that she landed herself right in the middle of a civil war. The job was simple, get into Ursima Group Corporate headquarters, steal some tech for the government of Terra, and collect a big fat paycheck in the end. Instead, over the course of three months she has discovered galaxy altering political plots, betrayal, and has almost been eaten by the less than hospitable wildlife.
Today, however, she is regretting taking the quick and easy path in order to pay off her mostly unearned debts. She took up work doing what is colloquially called "stryking." Those who do the stryking are referred to as "strykers." They carry out jobs that are anywhere from bounty hunting to aiding in the collapse of a rival government. It's always high risk work but lends a hand to those with the right talents. Governments throughout the galaxy have differing opinions regarding the legality of stryking. On some planets strykers are legends, on others strykers are the lowest kind of criminals. Regardless of how any one society views them, everyone uses them to keep their hands clean.
