Jacqueline Annette Sue was honored as San Francisco Library Literary Laureate for the book Cornbread and Dim Sum in 2010. Other works by Mrs. Sue are, A Dream Begun So Long Ago: The Story of David Johnson, Ansel Adams’ First African-American Student (2012); Morning Glories in a Dead Tree (2008); Black Seeds in the Blue Grass (1983) and a play, Mother-in-laws in VietNam (2006). Mrs. Sue is San Francisco State University graduate who has a masters degree from San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Anselmo, California and is a former California postmaster.
