About the Author

Stephanie Sim was born in Singapore and currently lives in Vancouver BC, where she has been working as a concept artist and designer in the animation industry for close to a decade.
Stephanie holds a BA(Hons) Graphic Design from the University of Central England (now known as Birmingham City University) and a Diploma with Merit in Classical Animation from the Vancouver Film School.
While in film school, her short film “The Story Tree” won "Best Classical or Stop Motion Animation Film” in the student category of the Canadian Awards for the Electronic and Animated Arts' (CAEAA) 2006 ELAN awards.
The short film was also was screened in numerous film festivals around the world.
When not nose-deep in a sketchbook doodling, Stephanie daydreams a lot and likes spending her days travelling, collecting toys and making up weird stories.
