Wood, who garnered international fame as a premier parodist for Mad, also takes aim at comic-book and -strips icons in such stories as “Prince Violate,” “Stuporman Meets Blunder Woman,” “Flasher Gordon,” “Starzan,” and even his own character, Sally Forth.
