About the Author

Neil Wenborn is the author of several books in the In a Nutshell series, including The French Revolution, Confucius, and Napoleon.


Nigel Carrington has been a regular on the London voice-over circuit since 1981. A former member of the BBC Radio Drama Company, he has narrated more than sixty audiobooks, and he played Nigel Pargetter in The Archers from 1986 to 1989 and Dr. David Boyce in Westway from 1997 to 2005 for BBC World Service Drama. He has also worked extensively in film, television, and theater.
