Overview

Never before has Matthew Kogut ever spoken publicly about the most pivotal moments in his life. In his upcoming book, he opens up about some of the most dramatic events that has shaped the formidable years of his young life. The who, what, where, when, why, and how all finally get answered with the release of his memoir, Confessions of a D-List Prom King: Essays of a Life Unforetold.

In his first ever publication, Matthew chooses to address such pivotal moments in perfect Matthew fashion, bluntly, candidly and served with a side of humor. When it comes to the loss of his father, Matthew begins to encapsulate that life defining moment by saying how, "The day my father died is a day is embedded in my mind. It has changed the whole trajectory of my life forever, in ways that I can't even explain." But noting one of the greatest achievements of his life, it was when he came out at just 17-years-old. That having such a profound impact on who he is as a person, he doesn't see living his life any other way. Him wanting to live his most honest and true life, he writes how if his sexuality were something he still had to keep a secret today, who knows if he would still be alive to talk about it.

Everybody has a story to tell, and it's time for Matthew to tell his. With the release of Confessions of a D-List Prom King: Essays of a Life Unforetold, get ready and hunker down for what is seemingly set to be Matthew's most wild ride yet. Gird your loins and buckle up for what very well may be the beginning of a long, no pun intended, storied career for Matthew in the literary world. With that being said, are you ready to confess?
