CONFESSIONS OF A COMPULSIVE BOOK HOARDER
Hoarding -

People who stockpile stuff inside their homes may have more to deal with than a cluttered home. Hoarding can signify a mental condition associated with anxiety and depression. Hoarding may indicate there is something else going on in our lives that need attention.

Once we become aware and accept the fact that we have this disorder (or affliction) we can then begin to address it. Then we take the necessary baby steps to correct it. Understanding ourselves, our motives as to why we hoard, or collect, and also why we can’t let go of things will help us stay on track in terms of stopping the hoarding, the compulsive acquiring, and getting rid of the clutter.

This book details the steps I took to get a handle on my book hoarding. It takes baby steps and can be accomplished with the right focus and determination.
