This text began as an internal project at Texas Children�s Hospital to provide a condensed, up to date, review of pediatric anesthesia for our fellows and faculty to have an easy to read reference on a large variety of topics. We have been very pleased with the quality of the writing, and therefore decided to publish this material as an ebook so that others who provide pediatric anesthesia have access to this quality material. The authors practice full-time pediatric anesthesiology at Texas Children�s Hospital in Houston, Texas; or have a direct relationship to our department (former fellows). We have chosen to publish this as an ebook so that we can easily update the text to meet the needs of our rapidly advancing specialty.
