Computer Management

Computer information systems (CIS) is a discipline that studies how organizations use information technology (IT) in their core business functions. CIS differs from computer science in that it focuses on the use and value of IT for the enterprise, while computer science focuses more on the theoretical study of computation. One use of the term computer security refers to technology to implement a secure operating system. Much of this technology is based on science developed in the 1980s and used to produce what may be some of the most impenetrable operating systems ever. Though still valid, the technology is in limited use today, primarily because it imposes some changes to system management and also because it is not widely understood. The present book focuses and provides a comprehensive detail on fundamentals of computers and management. Computers and Management Information Systems are interdependent. Hence, this book enlightens the functioning of computers along basics of Internet. Functional areas of application of MIS along with additional information regarding viruses and threat to electronic security also provided.
