About the Author

Max Swanson worked as a research scientist for Atomic Energy of Canada from 1960 to 1986, and was a professor of physics at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill from 1986 to 1993. He has published more than 150 scientific papers and one book, Religion Unplugged: Spirituality or Fanaticism. He lives in Ottawa, Canada, in the summer and near Sarasota, USA, in the winter. He is married with four children and thirteen grandchildren.
