About the Author

Simon Garfield is the author of seventeen acclaimed works of nonfiction, including the international bestsellers Just My Type, On the Map, and Mauve. He lives in London.

David Thorpe has appeared in numerous stage plays, in repertory, and on tour. Twice a member of the BBC Radio Drama Company, he has been heard in many radio plays and readings.
