About the Author

Franklyn Ajaye is an Emmy-nominated writer/producer/actor/comedian. His many television writing and producing credits include The Parent'Hood, In Living Color, Roc, NYPD Blue, and Politically Incorrect. Among his acting credits are Carwash, Hollywood Shuffle, The Burbs, and Stir Crazy. As a noted comedian, he has appeared on The Tonight Show, Politically Incorrect, The David Letterman Show, and The Arsenio Hall Show and worked everywhere-from small clubs to the big Las Vegas hotels, as well as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In addition, he has had three recordings of his comedy work released by A&M and Little David Records and has taught stand-up comedy at UCLA. Known internationally as "The Jazzcomedian," Franklyn now splits his time between Los Angeles, California, and Melbourne, Australia, where he teaches writing, plays clarinet, and performs with his musician brother Eric in comedy and music festivals.
