Overview
Would you trade your life for a year of happiness?
Sean Riley is mad at the world. He's lost his wife, his children, and he hates his job. So...he finally agrees to go with his friend Anand to Time Dream—a company with a machine that allows customers to select an exact date range from their past, and then go back to that time inside their own mind while they're put into an induced coma jump.
In his first coma jump Sean revisits the girl of his dreams from college.
Next, he goes back to age sixteen and has an encounter with his mom's best friend.
Convinced Time Dream is for real, he uses his third jump to see his family for the first time since his two young sons were killed in a tragic accident, and becomes hopelessly addicted to coma jumping like everyone else.
And then...Time Dream offers a deal to the world: Your life for a free one year coma jump. While Sean and Anand try to unravel what's behind this indelible deal, Sean is tormented by a longing to take it.
