Overview

Zoe Agunda, a senior in high school, grew up living a typical suburban lifestyle where all of her friends were white and her being black never seemed to matter. It wasn't until an incident involving a black student being arrested caused rising tension amongst Zoe's "friends," who began voicing their stereotypical and racist views. With the help of a white male classmate, Dean, Zoe learns to stand up for herself and come into her own to erase the color lines.

Madison Phoenix was born in Washington, DC, but grew up in Florida. She began writing stories at the tender age of 7-years old and always knew it to be her passion.
