Overview

Faith is stronger than pain and love is greater than wealth.
Annissa Malone is a woman who appears to have everything. A 900 thousand dollar house, a million dollar credit line and a minted husband who hides nothing from her… including the back of his hand. Annissa’s husband, Drace, has grown to think of himself as something of a god and sees his wife as little more than a stupid, somnambulant minion under his absolute rule. In truth however, Annissa keeps her own God and is the indisputably cleverest human being Drace has ever met; though she works prodigiously to keep him from realizing it. Between Drace’s merciless ravaging of those who trust him and Annissa’s quiet workings to free herself of her husband’s autocracy, the very air between them is growing close to detonating. But now, in the middle of it all, there emerges a new problem. A man who knows Drace’s darkest secrets; a man with the means to take Annissa’s life and burn Drace’s to a crisp cinder all in a moment; a man who calls himself…
