I was minding my own business, checking my facebook one day and noticed twenty to thirty stories about alien abduction popping up on my feed and so I blocked them. For the next few days they kept coming, I would block them ,report them as spam, and use whatever options facebook has to make them go away. THAT ONLY BROUGHT MORE IN, at one point my facebook feed was full of mostly alien abduction stories, I thought 'dude WTF?' So I came up with my own idea of what these stories were, and began to comment on them there. Then I thought this through of how to write a story around my hypothesis on the abduction stories. The people commenting on these stories who believe they were abducted kept the conversation going to the point I had to take down my comments or forever be part of endless discussion with a thousand questions on my concept. And then oddly enough, the alien stories disappeared from my facebook feed.
