A large proportion of the worldwide populations suffer from allergic disease, allergic rhinitis and bronchial asthma being among the most common chronic disorders. These condition impact not only on economy of the worldwide public health but also on the mental, physical and financial status of people suffering from complication of these disorders. Allergic disease should be explored at the level of gene to molecular biology, cell biology, histopathology, symptoms and quality of life. The incidence of allergy is progressively increasing with modernization of life style.

About the Author

Dr. V.K. Jain is professor in Department of T.B. & Respiratory diseases and at present vice principal of S.P Medical College, Bikaner. He has more than 30 years teaching experience. He has published 44 papers and delivered 120 guest lectures. He has been honoured by several national and international awards and fellowships. He present he is holding significant position in several medical associations. He has published two books and contributed in many publications.



Dr. Anil Arora is lecturer in Department of botany, Govt. Dunger College, Bikaner. He has more than 15 years teaching experience. He has published 20 papers and delivered 10 guest lecturers. He has been honoured by several national awards. At present he is engaged in research on aeroallergens of Thar Desert and has been supervising M.Phil and Ph.D. scholar. He is number of Aerobiological and Palynological societies. He has published four books and contributed in many publications.
