Overview

The goal of this book is to inform the reader about some of the most common mental and physical disabilities that occur in our society. Through years of observation of, in, and around my children's schools and community I have found that many adolescents do not understand many of the disabilities people can have or really know much about these disabilities and their effects. My hopes in writing this book are to dispel misconceptions and engage the reader by opening their mind to think about making new friendships with all types of children no matter what their potential differences or challenges might be.
