Christmas Presents
I came up with an idea to write this story with the hope of instilling a sense of responsibility, respect, duty, and love in children.
This is a story about a little boy, whom I named Harry—a very mischievous child. He is a boy who doesn't listen to his parents and ignores their requests. Harry treated his toys improperly. Then the toys made a decision to leave him. They were looking for the new owner who will give them love and respect better than Harry. The toys were trying to teach Harry a lesson, hoping he will change his negative behavior. At the end of the story, my main character learns his lesson.
I do believe that my story is different from the other children's stories because it illustrates children's thoughtless manners and teaches them to proper behavior.

About the Author

For Luiza Mkhitaryan, creative writing has always been a passion. Her writing skill has been detected for the very first time at the age of nine and has been firmly confirmed by her Armenian language teacher, as well as her paternal grandfather who was an Armenian language professor, writer, and an author of numerous books. Luiza’s essays at school were always a success and a peasant gift for her grandfather.
She was born in Armenia to the family of teachers. Her mother was a chemistry teacher, the father an economist, and her sister is a financier with the master degree in business management.
After graduating the high school with excellence and honors, she pursued a career in international journalism and translation and achieved a master degree. During the university years, she managed to publish an article in Chicago Post Tribune and multiple publications in prominent Armenian newspapers. She speaks English, Russian, and Armenian fluently and some Spanish. Later on in 2001, when she moved to United States, her foreign language proficiency landed her a job in US courts as an interpreter and translator. In United States, she decided to continue her education in New York University’s graduate school of Russian Studies.
Hard work, dedication, and persistence paved a new path for her in our country. In this land of opportunities, she picked a new occupation in the human resources management field. However, Luiza’s choice of different profession never detached her from her obsession of composing. She will keep on crafting interesting and captivating stories by penning them down for our curious little readers.
