Born in New York,worked as a design engineer specializing in Value Analysis.
Worked for 27 years in one company in the East, moved to Wisconsin to a company that did not have an engineer! Effected savings in labor and materials using his Value Analysis experience. Worked there for 17 years before retiring to move to
Lancaster, PA to be near family.

I probably should have guessed it would be Rachel when on page 329 you indicated that "it almost felt like he was coming home"....was that an omen ? You certainly kept me in suspense.

I finished the 4th of July chapter where Bob made a flip comment to Anna regarding his extended stay. Bob's sister Grace from New Jersey is coming to visit him and the two girls are excited about meeting her. Grace is equally excited about meeting the two girls Bob has told her about. I've been reading Chapter 11 where Bob, Ken and George go to Chicago to look at machinery. Can't believe how friendly Anna and Alice are
