About the Author

Dr. Phillip Minton is a physician and published health author. He has a particular interest in preventive medicine, the use of natural and less toxic therapies for illness, and nutrition. Following medical school and a period of private practice, he attended Stanford University to study nutrition, disease prevention, and to perform original scientific research about cancer and aging. He graduated from Stanford with a Master of Science degree with a Molecular Biology major, in 1995. This is his third book on topics in biomedical science. The first, published in 1994, was a programmed learning textbook for doctors and nurses. It was qualified for the granting of continuing medical education credits to physicians and nurses who studied it and completed an examination at the end of the book. The book, Delayed Diagnosis of Cancer, explored evidence suggesting that better outcomes for the patient could be achieved when an early and accurate diagnosis is made. This was followed by publication in 2000 of his second book, The Immortality Enzyme, written for the general public, reveals the surprising medical science of anti-aging medicine, detoxification, and preventive health. It remains available from book retailers.
