About the Author

Writing is Richard's third career. She moved from homemaking, to the corporate world, then retired to become a photo/journalist and magazine section writer for a local newspaper. She's an award-wining author of three books.Books and a variety of animals were part of the family scene while raising two daughters, two sons and nurturing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where she is also active in her community.
