About the Author

An alumni of Patna University, Dr. (Mrs.) P. Sen has been teaching Philosophy at Mahila College, Chaibasa (Ranchi University) since 1971. She is presently the Reader and the head of the department at the same college. She was awarded the Ph.D. degree on the Philosophy of K. C. Bhattacharyya. Her recent field of interest is tribal philosophy of life. She has published a monograph entitled Absolute, Self and Consciousness (1994) and has contributed several research papers to The Indian Philosophical Congress, Akhil Bharatiya Darshan Parishad, The Visva-Bharati Journal of Philosophy, Journal of Indian Council of Philosophical Research, DarshanikTraimasik etc.
