Ever since she began braiding hair when she was just 14, Queon dreamed of owning her own business. She never wanted to work for anyone else but herself. She began Queon Shine and Go to sell hair extensions which she partner with her cousin Latasha Thornton (GlamedXtensions), and the company offerings have quickly grown to include other creations of hers, including a magazine that allows small businesses to grow utilizing advertising that will be distributed worldwide, a line of lip gloss, workout gear. She also does motivational speaking and plans to soon release Shine & Go Magazine , KidsShine Vitamins, and DogsShine puppy clothing.
Currently residing in Augusta and planning to soon return to her hometown of Atlanta, Queon Holmes is also establishing Julia Hands Of Love foundation in memory of her grandmother, who suffered from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). The foundation, Julia Hands of Love, will promote research into the disease and help make people more aware of the disease, which strikes many people who don’t know that they have it, and to giving back all year around.
