Overview

Celebration (Christmas Fanfares & Carols) is a collection of carols and readings performed by the BBC Welsh Choir. This is a recording from a BBC broadcast but, despite being a live recording, it sounds great. The choir is marvelous, performing beautiful renditions that reflect the ethereal nature of these songs. The readings (by Aled Jones) are all from holiday classics, and they fit the mood of the album perfectly. The whole thing is a pretty relaxed affair, but they do a good job of capturing the magic and beauty of the holiday season. This is a wonderful collection of Christmas music that can appeal to those looking for this sort of choral performance for their holiday collections. ~ Bradley Torreano
