About the Author

Earl Sewell was born in Chicago, Illinois and attended Palatine High School. He continued his education at Columbia College where he studied Creative Writing.

Earl has always had two passions, the performing arts and athletics. During his high school years he performed in dance shows during the fall semesters and ran track and field in the spring. He always enjoyed writing but wasn't willing to let anyone see his work out of fear of being labelled as a too soft by his male friends. In college his professors encouraged him and by the time Sewell was twenty years old, he'd written several short stories and a novel.

Sewell has written a seven young adult novels over the past five years. His teen titles have enjoyed international success and have held steady positions on regional bestseller lists.
