Over the course of forty years, Robert Sadoff (director, Center for Studies in Social-Legal Psychiatry, U. of Pennsylvania) has collected 7000 books on legal medicine and forensic psychiatry. He recently donated 4000 of them to the library of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia as the foundation of a library focusing on the history of forensic psychiatry.
