Overview

The town of Maple Ridge, Oregon deals with a series of gruesome murders in the surrounding forest grounds, where the mayor has funded the construction of a national park. Detective Brian Walker is assigned to assist the local sheriff Matthew Latimore in closing the case before the park opens the following week. With the mayor refusing to postpone the grand opening, and people continuing to turn up dead, the case takes one wild turn after another. The wildest turn, however, is when the evidence begins to confirm a local legend of a dangerous beast living in the trees, and the biggest problem is nobody wanting to believe it.
