Written as a Master's Thesis, this book tells the account of Cascade College's founding and early years based on first-person accounts, interviews, and thorough research. First known as North Pacific Evangelistic Institute then as Portland Bible Institute, Cascade College held firm to its purpose throughout all its years. That purpose was to give young people training in Christian service, to teach them the Bible, and to provide a campus atmosphere where the Holy Spirit was present to prepare them spiritually for work as laymen or full-time gospel ministers.

About the Author

Author Doug Good followed in his father's footsteps as student body president his senior year, and graduated from Cascade College in 1964. His fondest years were spent in the traveling quartet representing the school across the country. He was given the Medallion Award by the Alumni Association in 2018 and remains in touch with his quartet mates to this day.
