About the Author

Christophe Bec is a writer and artist. Born in France, he spent the first few months of his life in Morocco due to his parent’s work. Attracted to comics from an early age, he began his career by producing fanzines, one of which earned a Best Fanzine nomination at Angoulême Comics Festival. He joined the Comics School of Angoulême the next year. Known for the art behind “Absolute Zero”, “Sanctum” and “Prometheus”, he is also the author of “Pandemonium”, “Shadows of Salamanca” and “Carthago”. “Sanctum” earned him nominations for Best Comic Album at both the Cognac Detective Film Festival and the Jules Vernes Film Festival. He also won the Uderzo Prize for his series “Lent”.
Alcante is a writer who helped co-author Carthago Adventures.
Born in Ganges in 1979, Jaouen Salaün lives in Montpellier. He discovered drawing quite late at age fourteen. He studied at the Émile-Cohl school in Lyon before working for many publishing houses. After graduating in 2003, he was immediately selected for the International Exhibition of Illustration in Bologna. Together with writer Julien Blondel, he created the series Nova in 2006.
Brice Cossu is a talented artist who contributed to Carthago Adventures.
Alexis Sentence is an artist who contributed to Carthago Adventures.
Drazen Kovacevic was born in Croatia and studied in Belgrade. He teamed up with writer Goran Skrobonja and together they won a comics competition organized by the French publishing house Glénat. This resulted in the La Roue series, an adaptation of Skrobonja's 1987 novel. He also worked on Philippe Thirault's series La Meute de l'Enfer.
Aleksa Gajić is a skilled artist who helped illustrate Carthago Adventures.
