Kafka escribió una carta a su padre con la intención de que este la leyera, ya que siempre quiso darle a conocer lo condicionada que había hecho su vida y lo inseguro que se sentía hacia él. Su madre (que tenia que actuar tal y como lo dijese el marido, sin poder comportarse con su hijo como ella hubiera deseado), si leyó la carta que su hijo escribió a su padre sin que llegase a sus manos. La infancia y adolescencia de kafka, están marcadas por la rigidez de su padre, que en un intento de educarle como el mejor, le influyo negativamente aportando una enorme opresión sobre él.

About the Author

Franz Kafka was born in 1883 in Prague, where he lived most of his life. During his lifetime, he published only a few short stories, including "The Metamorphosis", "The Judgement", and "The Stoker". He died in 1924, before completing any of his full-length novels. At the end of his life, Kafka asked his lifelong friend and literary executor Max Brod to burn all his unpublished work. Brod overrode those wishes.
