About the Author

Floyd Rhadigan is widely recognized for his unique style of carving, a mix between Ozark and Flat Plane Scandinavian styles. He is a past president of the Caricature Carvers of America, and a winner of the National Caricature Carving Competition. He is the author of several books from Fox Chapel Publishing, including Carving Fantasy Characters, Carving Fantasy Creatures, and Caricature Soldiers. Floyd actively travels North America conducting woodcarving seminars and classes. His friendly, down-home teaching style is reflected in his highly accessible books.
