Overview

When in 1990 James Martin is asked to take over a newly acquired company he very soon has to face an incident that exceeded the one one he had been faced with when he had been recruited to take over the Missile Systems Division of Locomotive Springs Technologies, or LST for short. The parent company of LST, Waterway Chemicals acquired the chemicals division of Petrotex, an oil company, and with that acquisition came Inland Systems, a manufacturer of aircraft landing gear, wheels and brakes and composite structures. Barely six months after taking over the company, there is a plane crash and the brakes are thrown under suspicion. James and his team have to sort through fact and fiction to discover the truth.
