About the Author

Melissa Darnell is the author of a growing list of adult, New Adult and Young Adult fiction and nonfiction books in a range of genres that include contemporary, paranormal and fantasy/sci-fi. Born in California, she grew up in Jacksonville, Texas (the site of the Clann's home base) and has also called the following states home since then: Utah, West Virginia, Louisiana, Alabama, Kentucky, Iowa and South Dakota. A former award-winning dancer with 12 years' formal training in jazz, tap, and ballet, she currently lives in Nebraska with her husband Tim and two sons, Hunter and Alexander, where she enjoys watching a diverse lineup of TV shows including Newsroom, True Blood, The White Queen, Da Vinci's Demons, Real Time with Bill Maher, VICE, and of course writing her latest book.
