Can You Find Me
About “Can You Find Me”

Do we know what love is? Is it;While Chunky was in the hospital, Fatty would get down on his knees before the crucifix and pray to Jesus hanging on the cross to take the pain from Chunky and give it to him. Fatty knew he had a higher tolerance for pain than did Chunky and therefore, the likelihood of both their survival was much greater; but it NEVER happened. Fatty never told Chunky of this; because all he was doing was the right thing.
Or is it: She seemed concerned and why I do not know. Behind them draped from a track on the ceiling hang a thin white curtain, which stopped three inches from the tile floor? She says to the coat, “Doctor, is Fatty gonna live?”
This is a true to life fantasy that takes place in the imagination of a man who watches a woman watch her husband in the hospital. The main characters of the fantasy are animals with anthropomorphic actions.
This book is intended for readers who enjoy immersing themselves in imaginary yet comforting scenes, and readers who enjoy romantic stories about devotion and love. Readers who enjoy reading challenging dialect will also like this book. Readers who enjoyed reading A Confederacy of Dunces might also like this book.
Everybody talks about how love should be. They talk about love at first sight and all kind of things that love should be. Now, let me tell you the truth about love. It can only be found where MY MAN is found. It can never be lost or taken; when one is willing to give up everything so another may live; then you have love. This is a story about such a love, but Chunky and Fatty never knew they were “soul mates” until one day they realized they had to look no more, I found you.
The story is about how a father and doctor implanted in the pea brain of his son the idea that a man could bear children and not only that, elephants. So Fatty’s imagination took over from there. When Chunky got depressed, Fatty would make her laugh and pull her out of her depression. Because in your mind anything can be done and Fatty taught this to Chunky. Throughout their marriage it was never a question of can we do this; but let’s go! CAN YOU FIND ME; MY MAN knows.
This story is about how Fatty and Chunky and how they survived many job losses, over thirty hospitalizations, and the death of all four parents. Chunky (female) knocked up Fatty, (male) on their wedding night with an elephant (Jealousy reeks, doesn’t it ladies).
I intend to make the reader laugh, cry and smile; but most of all think. This story is true and I hope it makes the reader a better person. “Doctor, is Fatty gonna live?” The answer lies within, CAN YOU FIND ME.
